About the Senior Tennis Players Club
We are a group of 500 plus tennis enthusiasts who are 50+ and get together to learn, play, and compete.
Group Play
We have groups that play winter and summer. Most summer groups are drop in and most winter groups have scheduled players. Group Play includes doubles play with others at your own skill level at courts throughout the Twin Cities area.
Flex Leagues
In the summer, from early June to early August, STPC offers outdoor flex leagues for men’s, women’s,
and mixed doubles. A flex league allows players to pick the date, time, and location of their match.
There are separate leagues for 3.0 and 3.5 players. Each league has teams consisting of two or three
players. The schedule is sent out in late May, and teams can arrange their matches in any order they
choose.
Tennis Drills
We want you to enjoy tennis as much as we do, and improving your game is one way to do that! One of the great benefits of an STPC membership is low-cost tennis drills from USPTA pros. Drills are held weekly and they run throughout the year. Drills are 60 or 90 minutes long.
Team Tennis
Team Tennis is offered each summer. League matches are played on outdoor courts, on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, from mid June through mid-August. Each player plays one proset of doubles and one of mixed doubles. Team scores and standings are reported each week, and at season's end the leading team is declared Champion!
eUpdate
STPC has a monthly email newsletter, called the eUpdate, sent from MailChimp. It contains brief stories about upcoming events.

Newsletter
STPC has a second newsletter called the Senior Tennis Times that has longer stories about events, our members, our summer and winter drills, our group play schedules, plus lots more! It also has useful articles about tennis strategy and rules.

Social Events
We get social with fun tennis parties and events. We hold such events approximately five times a year.
Jack Dow Round Robin
Finally, you can test your tennis skills against others at your level at our Annual Jack Dow Round Robin Tournament.
As a 501(c)(3) organization we're governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
