Tennis Playing Opportunities

Group Play
If you're looking for a group of tennis friends to play with regularly, you're in the right place. We have tennis groups playing doubles all over the Twin Cities at different times and skill levels.
In group play, you can play Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, or Mixed Doubles. We have winter and summer group play, but the groups are run differently for each of the two seasons.
Senior Tennis negotiates deals with tennis clubs so in most cases you do not have to be a member. Ask the captain for specifics.
See the Summer Group Play Schedule or Winter Group Play Schedule.
If you have any questions about group play, check out our Frequently Asked Questions page!

Tennis Drills
We want you to enjoy tennis as much as we do, and improving your game is one way to do that!
One of the great benefits of an STPC membership is low-cost tennis drills from USPTA pros.
In summer, the drills are held from May through August. Each week, you will receive an email notifying you of the following week’s drills. You will be able to go into Ticket Bud (link will be included) and buy a ticket(s) for that week.
During September through April, drills are held indoors by the various clubs. Registration for these drills is through these clubs.
See the Winter Drills Schedule or the Summer Drills Schedule.

Flex Leagues
After a successful summer season using the new USTA Flex app, all our flex leagues: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles will be run through the USTA Flex app. The leagues run from October 7th through December 30th.
To sign-up, download the "USTA Flex" app (NOT the USTA app). Hear is the QR code to take you directly to the app.

Team Tennis
Team Tennis is offered each summer. League matches are played on outdoor courts, on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, from mid-June through mid-August. Each player plays one proset of doubles and one of mixed doubles. Team scores and standings are recorded each week, and at season's end the leading team is declared Champion!
See the Team Tennis Schedule.
Please contact Mike Woolsey (952-937-2546) to help you find a team to play on.
And, oh yeah, as one of our long-time participants says: "It's a lot of fun"!
